The purpose of this plan is to further outline the recreation opportunities within the Chinook Community Forest area (CFA) and to create or enhance those recreation features or sites for the benefit of the public. This meets the conditions in Chinook’s K4R licence schedule D for the management of recreation features.

Furthermore, Chinook ‘s FSP under section 9 commits to the management of identified recreation features that have established objectives under the Forest Practices Code of British Columbia Act.
